Directions: Say the name of the shape that is in the dog: "rectangle". Next say the name of the shape under the dog: "heart". Have your child trace the lines of the rectangle and the heart using a red crayon. Then have her color in the shapes.
You need to show your child shapes in different positions, in different objects, and in varying sizes to help her build mental images of shapes.
