Number One

Directions: Point to the number 1 on the page. Say "one" out loud and have your child repeat after you. First have her trace the number 1 with her pointer finger (starting at the green dot and ending at the red dot). Next have her trace the number 1 using a purple crayon.

Number sense is recognizing that numbers represent an amount. For example, how the symbol "1" is related to a quantity.
