Directions: Have your child point to the king. Ask him to say what it is a picture of and the letter it starts with: K. Ask him what sound the letter makes: KUH. Have your child name all the pictures that start with the same sound as K, KUH and then color them.
In order to read, every child must know the sounds as well as the names of the alphabet letters. He must be able to recall them both quickly. He sees the letter and says the sound without hesitation.
