Directions: Say the letter P aloud. Have your child say the name of each of the four pictures (car, pig, puzzle, and plane). Ask her to draw a circle around the letter P at the beginning of each word using a blue crayon. Have her color each picture that begins with the sound the P makes: PUH.
By being able to recognize the letter P at the beginning of words, your child will be able to pick out other words that start with P.
