Walking

Directions: Give your child a beanbag. Ask her to place it between her legs and try to walk around the room without the beanbag falling to the floor. Give cues by telling your child to walk slowly and squeeze the beanbag with her legs to hold it in place. Repeat several times.

Large motor skills used in activities like walking lead to your child having agility, balance, and a steady gait.
