Number One

Number One

Directions: Point to the number and say "one". Have your child use a brown crayon to start at the black dot and trace each number 1, following the arrows 1, 2, 3. Have your child point and count out loud how many cats he sees. Then ask him to write the number on the line next to the picture.

Emphasizing by pointing and saying the numeral aloud at the same time helps your child learn to link the numeral 1 to the one picture.
