Directions: Place your little one on her back. Her feet should be flat on the ground. Slide your hands around her waist while holding her back. Raise her torso two to four inches away from the ground and support her. Count to three. Help your baby back to the ground.

Trunk exercises for abdominal muscles help control and support the body. As abdominal strength increases, other movements change and become smoother for your baby.
