Directions: Give your child a blue and red crayon. Have him color the trains below. Praise him for how well he colors the entire picture regardless of whether he stays in the lines or not.

Experimenting with the colors red and blue leads to your child engaging in a cause-and-effect exercise as he experiments with what happens when you color the blue crayon on top of the red crayon.
