Directions: Point to the letter and say "D, DUH". Have your child say "D, DUH". Help her trace the inside of the D with her pointer finger, starting at the green dot and stopping at the red dot (use words start and stop with your child). Have her color the big D with a crayon.
Tracing the inside of letters provides a visual and tactile experience that helps your child build a trace memory for how the letter is formed.
