Walking

Walking

Directions: Have your child close her eyes ("Don't peek!"). Then hide an object (the "bone") in the room. Tell her when she opens her eyes to walk around and look for the object. Say what the object is (e.g. a toy bone). Give cues (e.g. "You're getting closer!"). Say the rhyme below as she is searching.

Playing games while walking can reenergize your child and make the walk fun exercise.
