Number Three

Number Three

Directions: Point to the number 3. Say "three" and have your child repeat after you. Count the number of planes aloud: "One, two, three". Have her trace the number 3 with her pointer finger (starting at the green dot and ending at the red dot). Next have her trace the number 3 using a blue crayon.

Your child can count up to three objects but not in order. As she learns to count in order she is making the connection that the larger amount comes after the smaller amount.
