Directions: Sit with your baby on the floor with two stuffed animals. Pick up each animal and say the name of the animal. Then say the sound the animal makes. Repeat the same process with the second animal. Let your baby explore the animals.
Labeling objects helps babies learn the names for things as she hears you say them out loud. Later she will often verbally identify an animal by the sound it makes.
